Luca,
could you add any additional info to your JIRA?
1) Log (under your workspace .metadata directory)
2) Which Designer Install (assuming teiid_designer_6.0.0_v20090514.zip ?)
3) The Designer was probably trying to match a Driver class from your import with a
Connector Class, so could you include that info also found by looking at properties of
your "Data Source" under your model?

Importing model from jdbc
Creating a new source for an Oracle 9 DB
using jdbc14.jar and adding to udf (and a second time in the source definition)
the jar from the oracle instant client
the connection work, tables are imported but at hte end of the import the error is:
