Resolution: Done
Just needed to add a preview.isModified() method and previewVdb.save(). The code was only
checking for synchronized and needed to check of isModified().

1) Start Designer, create project, create new Teiid Server
2) Import PartsOracle to create model
3) Look on file system to see the xxxxxxxxxx__PartsOracle.vdb and see the the vdb.xml
doesn't have a UUID prefixed JNDI name. it'll be PartsOracle.
