Just noticed that if the schema is open the blank menu action is still there. You have to
go to the child of the model (which has the same name) to get a valid context menu under
New Child.

Righ-clicking an unopened XML Schema > New Child shows a blank menu action. Since the
XML schema is not open, perhaps the New Child option should be disabled?
