Nick Boldt <nboldt(a)redhat.com> made a comment on jira TEIIDDES-1254
Since JBDS content hasn't really changed since 2011, and since copyright dates
aren't enforced religiously (eg., if it says 2011 it really means 2011ish, but IANAL
so don't quote me on that), I'm not worried about the date change. But I agree, we
should technically be bumping dates.
As to the collection of 7.4.4 and 7.4.3 / 7.4.2 features, that's to be expected. My
assumption here is that the only features that moved to 7.4.4 are the ones affected by the
changes above and beyond the code as it stood for 7.4.3.
In other words, if a feature and its contained plugins have not changed, it shouldn't
blindly be called 7.4.4 - it should remain on the previous version.
That said, if you see something that's called 7.4.3 and SHOULD have been bumped to
7.4.4, that is in fact an issue. However, it won't prevent the user from updating so I
suppose we're fine here. And yes, a more robust system to verify this should be in
place for the next patch/fix cycle. :)
The System.vdb is not up to date
