That is cutting it close.  Coding starts May 21.  Mid term evaluations 
go in July 9th.  Google makes mid term payments to students based on 
evaluation.

Is he able to do some work in May such that he can take June off?  Just 
got to work out the schedules with time off and accelerated work.

The exercise should be to have fun coding. If it induces stress, then it 
may not be worth it. :)
