[hibernate-dev] [HSEARCH] IRC Meeting

We discussed progress and planning for current HSEARCH sprint and some
things more:

* Feedback to Gunnar's talk on Hibernate Search + Elasticsearch; E.g.
we should use the bulk API

* Options for working on and sharing slides: redhat.slides.com, vs.
plain reveal.js vs. AsciiDoc

* Ideas for Google Summer of Code:
  * Java Batch API job for HSEARCH mass indexing
  * Solr backend
  * HSEARCH support for JHipster and/or Spring Data
  * Async API for ORM/OGM/HSEARCH
  * Let's sharpen ideas and push them out as proposals

* Current HSEARCH iteration
  * Davide finishing Analyzer config
  * Sanne investigating intermittent test failures and thinking about
Document SPI design
  * Gunnar to pick up some of the loose ends
  * We should abandon or make configurable the synchronous index refresh
