[hibernate-dev] Why do we have the date in the URL of blog posts?

I don’t think spending the n hours on outweighs the explained benefits so I would keep it that way.
The reason I had the dates were because blogs are time sensitive (like any content really), and it avoids or reduces the risk of slug collision for which we would need to implement a workaround for.
