Steve Ebersole commented on HHH-3205:
-------------------------------------

I want to point out that I think y'all are missing the important thing here. This is a *new feature*. Without a test case we cannot be sure that code changes moving forward do not negatively effect this new feature. That's the whole point of having a regression test suite in place.

Will DTD *additions* affect current tests? As Paul points out, of course not.

> The dtd found at http://hibernate.sourceforge.net/hibernate-mapping-3.0.dtd is does not specify a lazy propery for the <map-key-many-to-many> and <index-many-to-many>. As a result it is impossible to create a map which doesn't lazy-load it's key value. (default-lazy="false" does not help either.)
> Using a custom dtd (see attached patch) the lazy property can be specified and works as expected.
