I'd wait for 245 till 4.1 cos it's better if we give ourselves time to 
provide implementations for the interface so that we can nail it down. 
For example, I do wanna implement a ModuleLifecycle for tree module.

If we get something wrong in the interface now and we commit it for 4.0, 
it's gonna be tough to change it afterwards.
