Can the ManagedComponent be expanded to be able to gather runtime statistics on that component.

As examples for Connection Pools, 
connectionCount
availableConnectionCount
maxConnectionsInUse
inUseConnectionCount

Queues and Topics
ConsumerCount
MessageCount
