Is there a way to update a local checkout of https://svn.jboss.org/repos/repository.jboss.org/jboss/common-core/2.2.2.snapshot/

I tried the following and nothing happened
mvn -Djboss.repository.root=c:\home\cvs\jboss-public\repository.jboss.org deploy

So how the snapshot build of common-core can be used by the AS build? Do I have to checkin that manually ?
