John Ament commented on JBPORTAL-2278:
--------------------------------------
Hmmm Just noticed something weird.
The following URL also works.
http://localhost:8080/portal/portal/jimmy
When I deploy portal as the root context, this url works.
http://localhost:8080/portal/jimmy
I wonder if it's possible I'm making changes in the wrong jboss-web.xml? I'm editing the one found here.
/jboss/as/jboss-portal-2.7.1/server/default/deploy/jboss-portal.sar/portal-server.war/WEB-INF
the only other one that name wise makes a bit of sense to me is
/jboss/as/jboss-portal-2.7.1/server/default/deploy/jboss-portal.sar/portal-core.war/WEB-INF
which has empty web.xml and jboss-web.xml
> Documented URLs do not work.

> Environment: PostgreSQL 8.4 portal 2.7.1 bundled

> Priority: Critical

> Based on the docs, you should be able to access the following URL by default:
> This works fine.
> Then you create another portal "jimmy" and according to the docs "jimmy" should be at
> http://localhost:8080/portal/jimmy
> But it's not. You have to use the auth url.
