Everyone,
I have been seeing a strange problem when I start up my Jboss Server. There are times when the app server starts up and have about 1.1GB of free memory, but then there are times when i restart the server and then i only see about 785MB of free memory.
When I restart, I usually clean out the /tmp and /work directories under my server configuration.
My question is that I want to know if there is any good practice to follow when restarting, such as clearing out anything, etc?
Or could there be something happening that would cause JBoss to keep things around beyond a server restart?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Daniel
