Can you post the contents of your -ds.xml file (it should be placed in the deploy folder)? I am interested in the jndi-name that you have given in that file. I believe you deleted the hsqldb-ds.xml file from /home/encore/jboss-4.0.4.GA/server/default/deploy folder, isn't it?
