[jboss-user] [EJB 3.0] - detached entity passed to persist

  Hello,
     
       Hello, I am ramu. while adding a new record . i am gettng the following exception 
javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.PersistentObjectException: detached entity passed to persist

can any body suggest. please it is urgent.
