Pete tells me that up to Seam 2.1 they target JBoss 4.x, from Seam 2.2 and onwards it will be JBoss 5.

So this is fixed in Seam 2.2 trunk.

The tooling uses the templates Seam provides so I would really not like to do additonal logic for something that the Seam team won't even target/support.
