Looks like it is something related to your local environment.
To replicate this problem I need litle bit more info about your environment
1. How did you create your project (JBossTools wizard, Imported outside eclipse or something else)
2. JBossTools version - ?
3. Java version?
4. Groovy plug-in version?
5. OS?
