Also consider moving to a more recent jbossws version, as issues that might be related to this problem have been fixed. If you can't upgrade to JBoss AS 5, at least try using the most recent JBossWS supported in AS 4.2.x. See: http://community.jboss.org/wiki/JBossWS-SupportedTargetContainers
