What is the proper setup for a domain controller and host connection besides pointing toward the domain controllters ip? my host points to my domain fine and makes a connection but the domain controller seems to lose its server names in the admin control gui intereface when the host connects. When I disconnect and make the host its own domain everything works fine in the gui admin interface for both servers. 

I ask because I have 5 server instances on my domain controller. 
server-1 domain:
server-group names:
main 
cluster
other

server-2 host points to domain ip 192.168.X.X 
server-group
main 
other
