Hi there is already a module that provides a CDI Human Task service: you can find it in the master branch of jBPM:

 https://github.com/droolsjbpm/jbpm/tree/master/jbpm-services/jbpm-human-task-services https://github.com/droolsjbpm/jbpm/tree/master/jbpm-services/jbpm-human-task-services

That will make your life easier.
