I don't remember how we did this in AS 6.x, but I certainly can't remember anything "queue" which has a capacity of 500. And when you say the calls are being dropped, what exactly happens? Any exceptions?

By the way, I would strongly recommend that you move to AS7 since AS6 is no longer under development and it had some unimplemented @Asynchronous features.
