#1 looks ok. except I don't understand why enabling basic seam runtime support for existing WTP is not possible ? 

#2 ok - but should also be possible to enable seam support without having chosen a runtime IMO. (otherwise seam 2 users won't be able to enable it without having a seam 1 runtime somewhere)

#3  If we don't support seam 2 that error should just be a warning. Everything except the wizards will work.
