Juergen Zimmermann reopened JBIDE-2798:
---------------------------------------
Rob, let's play ping-pong after the Olympic Games are over ;-)
I see 3 possibilities:
1) I'm using the new Eclipse 3.4.1 plus WTP 3.0.2 (and the according plugins of DTP, EMF, and GEF). You are using Eclipse 3.4.0 plus WTP 3.0. However, when I use Alpha1 instead of the nightly build, then everything works fine. Therefore, I guess the newer Eclipse version shouldn't be a problem.
2) I'm using several 3rd party plugins. However, there is also no problem with Alpha1. For completeness, here is the list of plugins: Classlocator 1.0.8, FindBugs 1.5.3, HashMe 2.6.1, http4e 1.2.2, NTail 0.94, QuickImage 1.0.2, ResourceBundleEditor 0.7.7, SubClipse 1.4.4.
3) You are using JBossTools-ALL. I'm only using these plugins from the nightly build:
* Hibernate Tools
* JBossAS Tools
* JBossWS Tools
* RichFaces VPE
For Alpha1 I also had JBossTools-Core which isn't available any more. Here might be a problem: is any server functionality outside of "JBossAS Tools", so that I need another plugin?
