JBoss Server View > XML Config > Ports > choose an XPath entry > right-click > New XPath > nothing happens.

This context menu item does nothing and ought to be removed. 

Note that *this* menu items works fine:

JBoss Server View > XML Config > Ports > right-click > New XPath > dialog appears and works great.
