John Graham commented on JBIDE-3499:
------------------------------------

@Denny: The model for testing needs to read existing JBESB config files, whereas the one mentioned in this JIRA is more for the generation of new configuration files. If you generate an EMF model from the current XSD for the testing tools, that will be fine. (Note that the XSD in JBESB 4.4 and SOA-P 4.3 are different. You should use the XSD from SOA-P 4.3, since that adds features that the testing tool will need to be aware of, like security constraints)

> We need a domain model (perhaps EMF based) for JBoss ESB configuration files. This model should be versioned, as the JBoss ESB configuration file is likely to evolve in future releases.
> This model would then be used by tools interacting with JBoss ESB configuration, including service editors, testing tools, impact analysis, and so on.
> Need to consider extensibility dimensions for actions.
