Pete Muir commented on JBIDE-4006:
----------------------------------

I updated the Wiki page - thanks.

Juergen, Web Beans BETA1 should be used with JBoss AS 5.0.1.

Max, Web Beans isn't included with 5.0.1, but 5.1.0.BETA1 as Juergen says.

Max, yes the deployer is the supported way. I talked to Dimitris, and he said not to put the JSR299 API in the lib dir (until we move WB out of tech preview).

Rob, to install Web Beans to JBoss 5.0.1 you should follow the getting started guide: http://docs.jboss.org/webbeans/reference/1.0.0.BETA1/en-US/html/ri.html

> WebBeans can be installed into the latest JBossAS 5.0.1. However, to develop with WebBeans you need ${JBOSS_HOME}/server/default/deployers/webbeans.deployer/jsr299-api.jar.
> It would be great if you could extend the build path and respect this jar for the GA release.
