The VDB Editor needs to operate without a having a connection to a default running Teiid instance. As such, a VDB Model entry only needs a translator name and JNDI name.

So users need the option of entering/editing the text field.

The Actions are convenience methods that are only enabled/presented when there IS a connected default Teiid instance.

So I think I'll reject this one.

The other JIRA, JBIDE-7835 makes sense to auto-select the "current" Translator or JNDI names if they currently exist on the default Teiid instance.
