Using 3.5.1 Eclipse and the m2eclipse 0.10 released yesterday JBoss Maven integration couldn't be installed
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-5871
URL: https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-5871
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: maven
Affects Versions: 3.1.0.CR1
Environment: Eclipse 3.5.1
m2eclipse 0.10
JBoss Tools from development update site or the CR1
Reporter: Csaba Toth
I want to install JBoss Maven integration, but it fails during the requirement resolution step:
"Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: JBoss Maven Integration 1.0.0.v200912250601M-H198-CR1 (org.jboss.tools.maven.feature.feature.group 1.0.0.v200912250601M-H198-CR1)
Missing requirement: JBoss Maven Core 1.0.0.v200912250601M-H198-CR1 (org.jboss.tools.maven.core 1.0.0.v200912250601M-H198-CR1) requires 'bundle org.maven.ide.components.maven_embedder 0.0.0' but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: JBoss Maven Integration 1.0.0.v200912250601M-H198-CR1 (org.jboss.tools.maven.feature.feature.group 1.0.0.v200912250601M-H198-CR1)
To: org.jboss.tools.maven.core [1.0.0.v200912250601M-H198-CR1]"
I can see on my system, that instead of having a org.maven.ide.components.maven_embedder I have a org.maven.ide.eclipse.maven_embedder
Because I'm new to Maven and JBoss, I don't know if this is "just" a renaming issue of the fresh 0.10 m2eclipse, but I couldn't find solution on the web. I cannot even find a download place for 0.9.9 m2eclipse.
I'm sorry if this is a duplicate or if I'm silly.
I guess some configuration files should be updated to reflect the new renaming?
