Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-6937:
-----------------------------------

>From what I can gather, the problem in the first case is that you cannot install two different versions of the BPEL editor:

Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency.
Software being installed: JBoss BPEL Editor 1.0.0.v20100901-0244-H66-M2 (org.jboss.tools.bpel.feature.feature.group 1.0.0.v20100901-0244-H66-M2)
Software currently installed: JBoss BPEL Editor SDK 1.0.0.v201005270313-3--8-Co3ICRlVZRQHjbWdZ7AKhMX (org.jboss.tools.bpel.sdk.feature.feature.group 1.0.0.v201005270313-3--8-Co3ICRlVZRQHjbWdZ7AKhMX)

So, only select one of the two features to install, and you should be good. Since the Editor SDK is already installed, you will either need to:

* remove it in order to then install the Editor, or
* just keep the SDK feature and ignore the slightly newer version.

Your call. (Eclipse can't handle this scenario automatically, so you have help it along.)

In the second scenario, you're told to remove both those features. Does removing those features help? Are you trying to install EVERYTHING in the Helios site? That's no bueno, man.

You don't need to install everything from the sites listed in requirements/. Those are the sites against which JBT is built, but not everything in there is required.

HTH,

Nick

> Hi,
> I have the 3.2 nightly builds installed in Helios. When I check for updates I receive an error stating that the http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/helios repository cannot be found. I have attached screen-shots.
> Disabling this repository from the "Available Software Sites" dialog and trying to update gives the "Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found". There is no "Problem Occurred" dialog indicating the repository at fault in this instance.
