2. mirror metadata into /home/hudson/static_build_env/jbds/builds/staging/_composite_/ :: DONE
3. make publish script push bits to both internal and external locations :: DONE

5. Add new profile to parent pom [-Plocal.composite] + update trunk jobs to use it as well as the remote one* :: DONE

* - Redundant, sure, but should help make it easier to fetch bits faster and more consistently. Using the settings.xml to provide a local mirror would only provide ONE version of the bits, not TWO; this way if one's incomplete the other will not be, so we should always have a fallback source.
