"I can confirm only that most of the JSP tags, that are expected not to be visual, are rendered as green horizontal lines in VPE." -they shows as unknow tags.
All jsp tags shows as unknow tags for VPE when we are register jsp namespace( xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page") for document.
