I think we have to add overview, tutorials, samples, whatsnew if we want the third party contributions to be shown within the standard Welcome view.

Re JBoss Central, I could try to add a new section - Third Party Contributions that would be shown only if there is some configExtension extension point. It would show the third party contributions in the way they are shown in the Welcome view. Then, we could probably remove the Welcome intro that only contains a link to JBoss Central.
