Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBDS-2086:
-------------------------------------------
I actually find it refreshing that at startup there is very clear path to what to do and not a full screen of mixed information.
Hence my suggestion on trying to make the screen less invasive while still letting users know there are something more to read about.

> When third party plugins contribute a welcome screen they are currently not shown.
> I think it would have value that we provide a way to have users get access to this content similar to what Eclipse EPP packages does.
> Is it possible to simply add a "More Welcome content..." button in case of more welcome screens being available and switch to a page that has a grid layout of the contributed welcome screen elements ?
> Or maybe add a scrollable panel at the bottom of the welcome screen showing the contribute elements "sliding by ?"
