This has been committed. Additional changes are that now, the includes pattern can be resolved for variables. This was necessary for as7.x/eap6 streams because we need a folder of ${jboss_config_dir} and an includes pattern of ${jboss_config_file}. Otherwise we couldn't match anything. 

So, fixed, but with a new feature. This will not be committed to 3.3.x unless strongly requested by a user or PM.
