I am marking this as done for 3.4.0.M2. I know we don't have a schedule for it yet, honestly, but this is done in upstream wtp.  But https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=386720 was committed to wtp 3.4.1.

The other bug, 386732, is much less important. It has been committed to wtp 3.5. I will work to get it committed to 3.4.1, but there is no guarantee.
