The fix has been committed to the trunk.
Attached is a patch and the o.j.t.project.examples plugin that can be used in JBDS 5.0.0.Beta1e instead of the o.j.t.project.examples plugin for the testing purpose.
The welcome tag has been removed from all the archetypes and quickstarts except from the login quickstart.
