Brian Fitzpatrick commented on JBIDE-13785:
-------------------------------------------
Ok. One of the questions that came up last week when chatting with Max was around whether the Simple Web Service wizard (New->Other, Web Services->Simple Web Service) would successfully create a new HelloWorld web service sample project or not on EAP 6.x. I just tested against EAP 6.1 Alpha and it worked fine. Also works against AS 7.1.1 just fine.
Now the WTP-based wizards may be a whole different pile of no-fun... But the wizard you asked about Max seems to work fine on the platforms you asked about. :)

> Improving the current WebService Tester view, mayb splitting the current tester that supports both SOAP and REST styles into 2 separate viewers (with maybe a common code base).
> Some ideas:
> - removing some unnecessary options in the SOAP Tester (ex: HTTP Methods),
> - adding embedded XML and JSON Editors to edit the request / response entities,
> - generate request entity skeletons from the expected java class
