Just saw your followup comment... "and just now that site seem to have been cleared out." which is about as vague as the original JIRA title :(

I think what you mean is that the cleanup script [1] ran and regenerated the composite metadata so that the old deleted versions were no longer referenced by the composite*.xml files.
