No quickstarts, samples, no EAP runtime (unless EAP 6.x determines it wishes to support Java 8), no special IDE functionality for Java 8 new language capabilities (though we might inherit some from base Eclipse).  
And all of this assumes that Eclipse itself will be ready for Java 8 by June 2014.
