Alessio also suggested that we make sure the endorsing is correct (when we used the old jbossws version) and that we were using a real jdk, not a jre. I am definitely using jdk locally and the endorsed libs in the JBoss 4.2.3 install seem to be JDK5 related, so we should be ok there if the tests are correct. The issue however seems to be that we may be using the version of JDK Eclipse is running on, not the one from the runtime (or JDK5) if a JAVA_HOME is specified in your path...
