Hello,

I'd say the best approach is to set up backup on database level in your
case.

Regards.

In my feeling, the import/export keycloak function over standalone.sh looks not like a real backup option, more like a "migration-tool" to migrate the data from one database to another. Am i wrong?

I read in the mailing list, that is possible to run "a second instance" of Jboss on the same server, when i start the standalone.sh with other port binding (i.e : with -Djboss.socket.binding.port-offset=). But iam wondering: How can i stop this instance after the backup is done? Is this really best practice?
