Encoder for binary protocol

[netty20101117]

When using standard java serialisation I am getting a throughput of 3500
msg's per second using std ObjectEndcoder/Decoder.
Played around with bootstrap options but still no improvements
Does anyone know where I can get some useful Netty implementation of a high
throughput binary encoder/decoder.
