Can I alter the list of enabled cipher suites?

A PCI scan of our JBoss ports has found that our JMS ports currently accept
weak ciphers as well as medium and strong ciphers. We use HornetQ and Netty
for our JMS connections.

Does anyone know of a way that we can configure or cause the Netty ports to
alter its list of enabled ciphers?

So far, we done/tried the following:

1) Researched the hornetq and netty configuration options for a property
that will work.
2) Set the 'https.cipherSuites' system property to the list of ciphers we
want enabled.
3) Debugged deep into the hornetq, netty and security classes.
4) Used aspects to try and alter the list of enabled cipher suites.
