I've tried Metamer for 4.0 Final and there is the same behaviour. The problem can be that there two tags with event attribute set to 'change'.

For example:

                   defaultLabel="#{richInplaceInputBean.attributes['defaultLabel'].value}"
                   value="#{richInplaceInputBean.value3}"

EDIT: When I change the ajax event to something else, the output is rendered correctly.
