Just a thought here.  What about adding seam-* scripts for the default profiles that just calls the main seam script with the right profile.  Instead of "seam resttart -Dprofile=prod" we'd just need "seam-prod restart"?  

As a side note, I know there is an open issue to better support multiple apps from seam-gen.  However it works, I think we should add a bin directory to each project which would contain aliases like seam-myapp, seam-myapp-dev, etc...  which call the seam script with the right arguments for that project and for the desired profile.
