The installer looks good. Two minor suggestions:

* Instead of "config/lib" have "modules/system/layers/base/org/picketlink" - to easier allow updating the modules manually without the installer (e.g. "unzip -o -d $JBOSS_HOME picketlink-inst.zip modules")
* Make it possible to specify "jboss.as.dist.dir" as a system property - to allow automated updates

Are you planning a beta release of the subsystem soon?
