[jbosstools-dev] Build Question

The nightly SOA Tooling repo, built from trunk, [0] contains Drools/jbpm
5.3.1.Final, and SY 0.4.0 (build H50) - you can see the versions of
other includes listed on the site's index page [0].

Should you want something newer in trunk than what's in the "stabilizing
branch" (forthcoming JBT 3.3.Beta1 / JBDS 5.0.Beta1) [1], Doug can show
you how to control this w/ composite metadata files [2]. It's a fairly
trivial change, provided that the upstream bits exist somewhere (eg.,
Drools site in Nexus means we simply need an unpack-and-publish job like
we have now for Drools 5.3).

Recommend you open a JBIDE [3] or JBDS [4] jira, assigned to Doug, and
set to affects/fix version 3.3.0.Beta1-SOA / 5.0.0.Beta1-SOA.

Tooling has been added to allow the creation of these references in generic form or by referencing a package from a Guvnor repository. All is well and good for the generic tooling, but the Guvnor integration requires v 5.4 of the Guvnor/Drools tooling. So...

If that is the case, they will need to install v. 5.4 of the Guvnor tooling from a snapshot build (since it is not in the nightly SOA repo). This is known and acceptable to the SY team.
