[rules-users] Do we need to override equals and hashcode in facts?

hi,

We are just starting to use Drools 5.0. The facts used by the rules do not
have equals() and hashcode() methods overridden. Does this have any effect
on the execution? Is it mandatory to override these methods in the fact
classes. I could not find these details in the Drools 5.0 documentation.
