Looks like JBoss is dependent on MQ if MQ is configured.Also In below forum I read that JBoss assumes that MQ is running while deployment.My files configuration is similar to this: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0710_rit... FIX: In case MQ is down then the ESB deployment should happen successfully and during message processing it should through the exception. This fix should be similar to Suppose if DB is down, deployment should happen successfully but when it tries to connect during processing it should through the exception.
