Richard Kennard commented on FORGE-398:
---------------------------------------
In my understanding, cascade refers to 'creating the child', not 'creating the
*relationship* to the child'. The UI doesn't need it because it has separate
screens for creating the child (for @ManyTo* and @*ToMany). But it tries to create
@OneToOne children on the same screen.
However, I don't think it'll hurt the UI to have additional cascades in there for
@ManyTo* etc if you like.
PersistencePlugin does not generate Cascade

Project: Forge
Issue Type: Feature Request
Reporter: Richard Kennard
This is one of those 'we could do it a different way, but it would make the generated
code cleaner if...' requests :)
At present the PersistencePlugin generates:
@OneToOne
private Profile profile;
public Profile getProfile() {
return this.profile;
}
public void setProfile(final Profile profile) {
this.profile = profile;
}
I would instead like it to generate:
@OneToOne(cascade = CascadeType.ALL)
private Profile profile;
public Profile getProfile() {
return this.profile;
}
public void setProfile(final Profile profile) {
this.profile = profile;
}
